Our aim at Cleggan estate is to give our guests an enjoyable day, challenging shooting and excellent hospitality.
All the partridges, pheasants and duck are reared on the estate by the gamekeeping team, led by John Johnston who has been at Cleggan most of his working life. The beating team and dog handlers are an essential part of the shoot, they make each shoot day possible.
The driven game shooting takes place over approximately 1000 acres, with drives located in woodlands, game crops, mountains and valleys. Several drives are accompanied by picturesque views of Slemish mountain and the Mull of Kintyre.
The Cleggan Shoot is renowned in Ireland for presenting the most spectacular game birds, testing the skills of the most experienced “guns”.
The shoot at Cleggan is an unrivalled experience.
