Cleggan Lodge is 30 minutes drive from Belfast International Airport (Aldergrove) and 45 minutes drive from Belfast City Airport. It is 10 miles North of Ballymena – Take the M2, A26 and A42. Four miles after Broughshane turn left after the Half Way House pub.
Accomodation
The recommended accommodation is The Londonderry Arms Hotel, which is in Carnlough, 5 miles further on the A42. We have negotiated special rates for the Cleggan shooting parties. Carnlough is a small and picturesque port village on the Coast Road and in the Glens of Antrim, 10 minutes drive from Cleggan, Excellent food. Private dining rooms. Gun Licences
You will need a shot gun permit from the Police Service of Northern Ireland (02890650222 Ext 24296) if you bring in a shot gun from Great Britain, from the Republic of Ireland/EU, or from outside the EU. We will provide the forms required. There is a charge of £12 for ROI/EU and outside EU permits but none for GB permits.. Easyjet and Aer Lingus(Aldergrove), and BMI (Belfast City) will both carry shotguns. Charges vary.
